Adam Cole’s WWE run peaked in November of 2019 with NXT’s inclusion to Survivor Series. In a recent interview, Cole reminisced about that month discussing his experience and how it played a major role in his career.

NXT’s inclusion to Survivor Series is certainly one of the most memorable moments of the pay-per-view. Apart from NXT’s historic inclusion, the Survivor Series of 2019 is also remembered for the dominating performance from the Black and Gold brand. In the same month, Cole had memorable bouts with the likes of Bryan Danielson and Seth Rollins.

Speaking with the Universal Wrestling Podcast, Adam Cole talked about his match with Bryan Danielson on the main event of SmackDown back when a large chunk of the roster and the production team were held back in Saudi Arabia in November 2019.

“It is one of the most memorable nights of my entire career, for sure, and the fact that it went so well is wild. It’s just a testament to how talented Bryan is and I guess the chemistry me and him have together as well. So that was really, really special night, really, really cool”

Adam Cole also reflected on the relevance of that month in his career and how it shaped his career trajectory moving forward. He felt it was not just an instrumental month for him in that year but for his overall career.

“Yeah, that November 2019 was instrumental not just for my career that year. As that year, I got nominated in multiple publications as the Wrestler of the Year, just for that November. Not to discredit anything I had done before. But I think everyone recognized how crazy that month was for me. It was just one of the things, I know a lot of guys who, if had been in my position, would have done the same thing. I just happened to be the right guy at the right place at the right time. And there was no way I was going to pass on that opportunity.”

As Cole points out, November 2019 was indeed a highlight of his career. In the short span of time, he competed against the likes of Bryan Danielson, Seth Rollins, and Pete Dunn while simultaneously participating in ladder matches and cutting memorable promos. Fortunately for Cole, everything turned out well for him considering he is an All Elite now.
