Roderick Strong is the only member of Undisputed Era who is still signed with WWE. His dramatic joining with Adam Cole’s stable is one of the most memorable moments in NXT. The former teammates also feel the same.
Adam Cole appeared on Universal Wrestling Podcast, where he discussed the infamous moment when Roderick turns heel on Pete Dunne (now Butch) and joins the Undisputed Era. Cole even admitted it is one of the favorite nights of his career and for Roderick as well.
“It was a reaction to it like kind of solidified the fact that it was a good drill. Kind of solidified the fact that it was a good call,” Cole said.
Roddie often goes back to that night where he turned on Pete and you know put the armband on and the crowd reaction and he looks back on that as one of the favorite nights of his entire career and it is one of mine too.”
It’s the fan reaction as well as the twist that fascinates Roderick so much to go back and watch that memorable moment again and again. Truly a remarkable work. Cole signed with AEW when his WWE contract expired. The other two are also with Tony Khan’s promotion.
