Ever since dropping the Shorty G gimmick, Chad Gable has been determined to compete at the highest level of technical matches as he can. Gable has been involved in his Alpha Academy tag team with Otis and even went on to become the RAW Tag Team Champions. He also has a very high opinion of Bryan Danielson.

On the other hand, Bryan Danielson spent numerous years working in WWE as one of their top stars. Towards the end of his run, Bryan Danielson was even part of WWE Creative,

Chad Gable was billed at five-foot-eight and competed as an amateur wrestler in the 2012 Olympic Games. While speaking on Table For 3, Chad Gable stated that he thinks Bryan Danielson opened the doors for shorter wrestlers in WWE.

“Thankfully enough, amateur wrestling just opened the doors and brought me to where I was. There was scouts at the Olympics from WWE. They happened to be looking for amateur athletes, and Daniel Bryan at the time had opened a lot of doors for smaller guys and people my size, and so the stars just aligned. After the Olympics, I made the journey here.”

Bryan Danielson is working in AEW and is currently part of the Blackpool Combat Club alongside Jon Moxley, William Regal and Wheeler Yuta. He is happy in AEW and that is all that matters right now.
