NXT 2.0 made its debut in September last year and it promised an entirely new outlook on the product. While it did bring about quite a few changes, not everything hit the mark in the way fans wanted.
The brand has found its groove for many fans now. It also holds special events, with NXT Stand & Deliver being the most recent one. The company already has plans for their future events.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company has had discussions about holding an ‘In Your House on USA’ special episode in June. A WWE Network/Peacock event will also be held in July.
The plan right now on paper is to the peak for a June special called In Your House on USA and a Peacock special in July, but not on SummerSlam weekend. From what we were told, neither of those dates is confirmed but both of those dates are under discussion
At Spring Breakkin’, Bron Breakker will be defending his NXT Championship against Joe Gacy. We will have to wait and see how the company will plan their upcoming events in the coming months.
