Dakota Kai Saw Her WWE NXT Release Coming

WWE released 10 members of the NXT roster today and now we have more information about what transpired. Dakota Kai’s name was on the list and this was a shock for fans. Kai might not have been so surprised.

A report from Fightful Select dropped after those releases. It was reported that Dakota Kai saw the writing on the wall that her days in NXT 2.0 were numbered. She also did not plan on renewing her deal with the company.

Dakota Kai was said to have seen the release coming, and beyond that had indicated to WWE that she was not planning on renewing her WWE contract.

We’ll have to see where Dakota Kai ends up next. She has a lot to offer any roster, but NXT’s changing scene simply didn’t fit well with her. Now we will have to see what’s next for her, but at least it seems like she was ready for the bad news.
