Serena Deeb Shows Off Busted Face After Street Fight With Hikaru Shida

Serena Deeb has been involved in a blood feud with Hikaru Shida for months. The AEW stars have had plenty of wars. Last night, they continued to pummel each other. Serena got the submission victory in the end, but she paid dearly for it.

It has been reported that Serena’s win puts her at the front of the line to challenge Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Championship. As usual, weapons and stiff fighting were a part of it. Serena showed off her battle damage after the wild bout.

Deeb can be seen with a huge bruise under her left eye. The swelling was appropriate for Philadelphia, where Rocky Balboa famously had to have his swollen eye cut open to continue his fictional fight. For Serena, the damage was all too real. On Twitter, she noted that she was doing just fine.

“All I need is one eye.”

The long-term feud between Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb has produced plenty of violence. In terms of storyline implications, it’s a receipt for Serena injuring Shida’s leg back in January. Now, Serena is likely to focus her efforts on becoming the AEW women’s champ.

There have been plenty of brutal brawls in the AEW women’s division. Thunder Rosa is no stranger to them at all. If the feud with Serena Deeb does happen, this injury could end up looking like child’s play.
