Ever since Wardlow made his AEW debut back in 2019, he was booked as an indomitable force in the company. Introduced as MJF’s bodyguard, Wardlow slowly became a fan-favorite thanks to his organic growth. Wardlow also commented ahead of his match this week on AEW Dynamite.

The Ward-dog betrayed MJF back at AEW Revolution and cost him the Dog Collar match against CM Punk. After that, the two began feuding and it has been building up every week.

Wardlow is set to square off against Lance Archer on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Wardlow took to Twitter and stated that it is not his day to die.

He gets it. I respect that. However, tomorrow is not my day to die. The victor of war will always be I…. It’s in the name #aewdynamite

We will have to wait and see whether Wardlow will be able to defeat Lance Archer or not. He certainly has a big babyface run in him with Tony Khan’s company. Fans are certainly invested in MJF and Wardlow’s feud right now.
