Ricky Starks is currently one of the highlights of AEW television lately. The FTW Champion has worked hard to establish himself as a dependable talent and fans continue to support him all the time. He also made an interesting remark recently.

Ricky Starks also has solid skills on the microphone, which is why he is often part of the commentary table on AEW Rampage. However, fans have also taken this the wrong way.

While speaking with Wrassle Rap, Ricky Starks stated that he feels bad when some fans think he is retired due to how rarely he competes on AEW television.

“I got a lot of messages asking if I am retired, and that sh*t is hurtful, dawg,. That sucks to hear fans asking me if I am retired, you know, because they don’t see me enough. I don’t ever want the sun to go down on me in that sense, you know what I am saying? I like doing commentary on Rampage, but I don’t want people to forget that I am still active, I don’t want people to think that I am just some young retiree because I am doing commentary.”

Ricky Starks also said that he has always been a main eventer in AEW. We’ll have to see what the company will have planned for Starks after his feud with Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee is over.
