LA Knight is quietly building a stable in WWE. After being called up to the main roster from NXT, Knight was immediately placed into the role of a manager. In untelevised segments, LA has been introducing audiences to his newest recruits.
The stable is known as “Knight Model Management.” LA Knight initially introduced Mace as the first member. Mace was later renamed “Face” by Knight. On Friday, Mansoor was in the ring with Knight when he introduced Mace to the live crowd, although he didn’t say anything.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the plan for LA Knight on the main roster. The stable is being established and will be an act on SmackDown. It is unknown how things will go with Mansoor.
“Knight Model Management. Right. So, he’s with Mace and perhaps Monsoor. Although, Monsoor is a natural babyface, so I don’t know how this is all going to turn out. But they’re definitely grooming him and Mace to be an act on the main roster.”
LA Knight proved during his time in NXT that he has the gift of gab. His natural cockiness lends itself well to a modeling agency gimmick. Time will tell if it works out.
We will have to wait and see who else decides to join Knight Model Management. Thus far, they are rolling the stable out slowly. If things start to catch on with the WWE Universe, we could see a lot more of the group.
