WWE will be heading to the UK during the coming week. The company will hold live events in London and other cities as part of their UK tour, which will run from April 28 till 29th. To prepare for their trip overseas, WWE had to get things ready and they streamlined a bit of that process.

According to Fightful Select, WWE taped two episodes of SmackDown after this past Friday’s SmackDown in order to make up for the April 29th episode of the blue brand. They kept a lot of the same producers working with the same people to make things easier.
WWE filmed two episodes of Smackdown, with similar teams of people working with one another, from workers to producers. Most of the producers for this week’s Smackdown were tasked with that particular talent’s segments for next week.
One of the tapings ended with Drew McIntyre confronting Roman Reigns inside the ring. McIntyre is slated to take on Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania Backlash next month. That match hasn’t been officially announced yet though.
WrestleMania Backlash takes place at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on May 8th. You can check out the card announced so far the premium live event down below.
