Jonathan Gresham became one of the highlights of ROH over the past two years. He eventually became the ROH World Champion right before the company went on hiatus. He was also pulled recently from an IMPACT Wrestling event.
As previously reported, Jonathan Gresham had suffered an injury during the AEW Battle Of The Belts event last week. It was revealed that he had suffered a concussion during his match against Dalton Castle.
Jonathan Gresham was set to square off against Eddie Edwards at the IMPACT Rebellion. However, he has now been pulled from the event. Chris Bey ended up replacing him.
ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham is unable to compete in his scheduled matchup with Eddie Edwards tonight at Rebellion. Eddie Edwards will now face Chris Bey on Countdown to Rebellion, streaming LIVE and FREE at 7:30pm ET on IMPACT Plus and YouTube.
The X-Division Championship match between Trey Miguel, Mike Bailey and Ace Austin will now take place on the pay-per-view portion of Rebellion, beginning at 8pm ET.
