WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart is without a doubt one of the best technical pro wrestlers the pro wrestling industry has ever seen. He is also a controversial wrestler whom many fans believe is too bitter as well. AEW also thinks he has signed a contract with WWE.

For quite a while now, AEW has teased the arrival of Bret Hart on Dynamite and Rampage. This further strengthened after Bret Hart was revealed to be managing FTR for an upcoming event.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are those in AEW who believe that Bret Hart has signed a contract with WWE. This would prevent Bret Hart from appearing in AEW shows.

The reason this is on an indie show and not AEW is that those in AEW are of the belief that Hart quietly signed a lucrative WWE deal that would ban him from appearing on AEW shows. But he is allowed to do indie shows, so that loophole allowed this to happen. This also means they believe he can’t be part of the Owen Hart tournament presentation.

We will have to wait and see whether Bret Hart really did sign a contract with WWE or not. Fans would be disappointed if Bret Hart and FTR do not team together on AEW television.
