Butch has been hunting for the New Day like a rabid dog. On this week’s WWE SmackDown, Kofi Kingston took on Ridge Holland in a singles match. Sheamus and Butch got involved, causing a chaotic scene. Holland and The Celtic Warrior ultimately tied Butch up with a chain to a forklift.

Today, WWE tweeted that Butch had gone missing. Sheamus shared a post searching for his lost pal. The New Day should be on high alert, as the scrappy fighter is now looking for them.

“Lost Butch. Last seen tied to a forklift. Responds violently to New Day. If seen contact #SmackDown c/o @WWE.”

Since being called up to the main roster, Butch has been booked as the scrappy dog of Sheamus’ stable. The former Pete Dunne has seen a major change in the direction of his character. WWE is hoping fans buy him as a madman always in search of violence.

WWE’s official Twitter account fired off their own contribution as they simply tweeted out, “Seriously though, where is Butch?!”

The angle furthers the feud between Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch, and The New Day. The fun-loving Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will have to always be watching their backs. Butch will likely pop up at the most inopportune time.

Many fans have reacted negatively to Pete Dunne’s repackaging as Butch. WWE is trying to push him as a reckless fighting machine that must be controlled and restrained. Time will tell how the whole thing plays out.
