Cameron Grimes won the NXT North American Championship in a fatal-five way ladder match at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. Grimes successfully defended his title against Solo Sikoa last week on NXT 2.0. His next title defense is already set and it will be a big match.

WWE announced that Grimes will put his title on the line against Solo Sikoa and former NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes at NXT Spring Breakin’ TV special in two weeks on May 3rd.
The triple threat match was finalized after Sikoa laid out both Trick Williams and Hayes as a result of a distraction caused by Grimes following Hayes’ victory over Santos Escobar. We will have to see if the North American Title finds a new home in NXT or if Cameron Grimes’ reign continues.
Bron Breakker also accepted Joe Gacy’s challenge this week. Their match was not made official until the show went off the air. Obviously, Breakker is seeking revenge for Gacy targeting his WWE Hall of Famer father.
WWE will announce more matches in the leadup to Spring Breakin’. So far, the triple threat contest is the only match made official for the upcoming special.
