Corey Graves Grateful To Jerry Lawler For Filling In On WWE Raw

Corey Graves took some time away from WWE Raw to enjoy his honeymoon with his new wife, Carmella. Corey and Carmella have been one of WWE’s hottest couples, even scoring a reality show on YouTube. Jerry “The King” Lawler filled in during Graves’ time away.

The WWE Hall of Famer might not exactly fit in with today’s sensibilities, but many fans were happy to see him back on Raw. The temporary replacement has allowed Corey Graves and Carmella to enjoy some much-needed alone time. WWE cameras need not apply.

Corey recently took to social media to express his gratitude to Jerry Lawler for helping out. Graves said it takes a true legend to fill his shoes. Jerry Lawler fits the bill.

Corey Graves’ commentary style is influenced by The King. Lawler was the quintessential heel announcer during his initial run with WWE. To many, Jerry and Jim Ross were the voices of wrestling they remember the most from their youth.

Corey will be back on Raw soon. In the interim, Jerry Lawler has been heeling it up and having some fun. Corey Graves couldn’t be more appreciative of that.
