Ricky Starks’ raw talent as a pro wrestler is undeniable and he has worked hard to be one of the highlights of AEW television. He is currently the FTW Champion and continues to gain fanfare. He is also very outspoken when it comes to the pro wrestling product.

He is also always compared to The Rock, a fact that surprises him. Especially when it comes to the way he dresses and his mannerisms and promo skills.

While speaking on the Out Of Character podcast with Ryan Satin, Cody Rhodes talked about the synergy of returning at WrestleMania in Dallas. He then made an amusing comparison with Ricky Starks.

“There was a lot of synergy and love over the fact that it was Dallas, Texas, and that is where I had my last WrestleMania. We’re one of those wrestlers, kind of like Ricky Starks has got like 50 hometowns. I also have, I lived in Denton, Texas, so right outside of Dallas. I have resided in LA. I have resided in Florida, and the Rhodes’ go back so far in Florida, and then I’m an Atlanta boy where I am now. So it felt like one of my my hometowns, so all the synergy was there.”
