Roman Reigns is the Tribal Chief of WWE. His transformation from a boring babyface to one of the best heels in the company has been a long and arduous one. Triple H also revealed something interesting about Roman Reigns recently.

The Head Of The Table has been running roughshod in WWE and his mere presence has helped garner a lot of ratings for Friday Night Smackdown.

While speaking with The Athletic, Triple H revealed that the people at The Tonight Show turned down Roman Reigns appearing on the show back in 2019.

”Three years ago, ‘The Tonight Show’ would call and want a guest and ask for Triple H or The Undertaker or (John) Cena. There was a year I couldn’t make it work, and I asked them to pick Roman or Braun (Strowman). They weren’t interested… Now Roman is on that show on his own. It takes time. You’re building stars. It’s not like flash-in-the-pan stars where this guy’s hot in boxing today and six months later, no one remembers him.

You’re trying to build generational stars that last. It takes time. It’s a slow and steady progression, and they’re getting there. Becky Lynch, Roman, they’re becoming household names

WWE also has no current plans for Roman Reigns to lose his titles anytime soon. We will have to wait and see who his opponent will be at WrestleMania Backlash next month.
