Cody Rhodes Wants To Face Roderick Strong Despite Risk Of Early Retirement

Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi left AEW back in February as they embarked on their next journey in pro wrestling. Cody Rhodes returned to WWE after 6 years at WrestleMania 38 and is now one of the highlights of Monday Night RAW. Rhodes is also down to facing Roderick Strong.

Cody Rhodes has already defeated Seth Rollins and The Miz after making his return to WWE. Since then, others have shown interest in squaring off against Cody Rhodes as well.

Recently, Roderick Strong took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of him doing one of his backbreaker and tagged Cody Rhodes. Rhodes replied to the tweet, stating that he wants to face Strong despite the risk of early retirement.

“I’m game – only wrestler on the fabled list I didn’t get around to fighting *pen emoji* (But if that backbreaker happens, early retirement for me *crying laughing face emoji*)

Cody Rhodes will be continuing his feud with Seth Rollins, as the two are set to clash at WrestleMania Backlash. We’ll have to see how their feud will be booked before then.
