Jonathan Gresham became the heart of soul of ROH over the past couple of years. He eventually became the ROH World Champion right before the company went on hiatus. He also suffered an injury recently.

Gresham defended his ROH World Title against Dalton Castle at the event. He was successful in retaining the title but something seemingly went wrong.

In a video shared by PROGRESS Wrestling, Jonathan Gresham revealed that he will be missing out on the April 17-18 Atlas Weekend events.

Regrettably, due to injury, Jonathan Gresham is not medically cleared to make the trip to the UK this weekend. Replacements will be named shortly for both #AtlasWeekend events. Our champion WILL be back in action at Chapter 134 on Sunday May 15th.

Gresham didn’t specify the nature of his injury. It was said that he will be able to work the Chapter 134 event for PROGRESS.

Gresham was checked for a concussion after Friday’s Battle of the Belts taping, and wasn’t immediately cleared after his evaluation either, according to Fightful Select. We hope for his speedy recovery.
