Kaleb Konley got an opportunity to shine on a national stage when many others were out of work. It was all thanks to Impact Wrestling. The promotion featured him as “Kaleb with a K” during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a great opportunity to show what he is capable of to a larger audience.

Kaleb ended up working with Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne, known as The Influence. On the latest episode of Impact, the team fired him. It turns out the on-screen canning was a reflection of real life.

Kaleb Konley took to Twitter to announce that he has parted ways with Impact. The decision doesn’t appear to have been his. Konley expressed his gratitude to the company and the wrestlers he worked with there.

“I’ve spent the last 2 years with @IMPACTWRESTLING. They gave me an opportunity while the whole world was shut down & it turned into some of the most fun I’ve ever had. I hate how it ended but life is full of peaks and valleys. Thank you to everyone there especially all the KOs”

During the show where he was fired, Konley cut a promo against the fans. W. Morrissey (Big Cass in WWE) came out and laid waste to Kaleb. The last scene of his in Impact was of him being put through a table with a powerbomb.

Kaleb has only wrestled three times in the past year but has experience on the independent circuit. Time will tell if he winds up somewhere on the national stage or if he sticks to the indies. Kaleb is thankful for his time with Impact regardless.
