Brock Lesnar dropped the WWE Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38 in a title unification match. It was a long time coming as their feud had been developing for a long time before that. He was also never supposed to be at WrestleMania Backlash.

The Beast Incarnate was initially advertised for WrestleMania Backlash next month. However, he was then subsequently pulled from the event. This shocked fans as they expected Reigns and Lesnar to face each other again.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that there were never plans for Brock Lesnar to have a match at WrestleMania Backlash in the first place. In fact, he was not even booked for the show as initially thought.

The Beast Incarnate is also advertised for the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event this year. Before that, he is also listed for Money In The Bank on July 2. We’ll have to see when Brock Lesnar makes his return to WWE television.
