Minoru Suzuki needs no introductions as far as his contributions to the pro wrestling world are concerned. Suzuki is one of the most intense and feared pro wrestlers on the planet. He also made a bold promise recently.
On the other hand, Samoa Joe has done it all when it comes to being a pro wrestler in the industry. He competed in numerous companies such as ROH, TNA and many more, honing his craft.
Samoa Joe is set to challenge Minoru Suzuki on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. It will be for the ROH TV Championship, which Suzuki won at ROH’s Supercard of Honor.
While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Minoru Suzuki talked about his upcoming title defence against Samoa Joe. Suzuki vowed to make Joe suffer.
“Many fans think this matchup is very special, but for me, I have to stay true to myself. I am here to hurt people. The opponent truly does not matter. This week, I will make Samoa Joe suffer.
People are brave until they step into the ring with me. Hopefully, Samoa Joe is not scared. I don’t know him well, but he will know me by the time we are done.”
…I hurt people, that is what I do. Samoa Joe is going to feel a lot of pain.”
We will have to wait and see whether Minoru Suzuki will end up retaining his ROH TV Championship against the Samoan Submission Machine or not.
