Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson may be on the move once again. The Good Brothers have worked in just about every major wrestling promotion in the world. The latest stop at Impact Wrestling also saw Gallows and Anderson make several appearances on All Elite Wrestling. The team could be on its way elsewhere soon.
Fightful Select reported that the Good Brothers’ contracts with Impact are set to expire on July 17. The team has also been working with NJPW Strong in addition to their AEW dates. New Japan also recently started working on getting work visas for American talent in the wake of the COVID pandemic.
“Fightful Select has learned that the Good Brothers’ deals run for about another three months, as they’re up on July 17. They debuted for IMPACT Wrestling back on July 18, 2020 at the Slammiversary PPV. During that period, the two have also worked All Elite Wrestling and NJPW Strong dates, and have deep connections in both companies. NJPW has also started working on visas to bring American talent back over to Japan.”
The team was interviewed earlier today by Mike Johnson of PW Insider. They made their intentions clear that they will return to New Japan Pro Wrestling this year. That could be their ultimate destination.
Gallows and Anderson have ties all over the world. There are plenty of places for them to land if they decide to leave Impact. The Good Brothers are a known commodity with a strong brand and would fit in well in several promotions.
We will have to wait until July to see where Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson wind up. They might choose to play the free-agent game and work on per-appearance agreements. If the right deal comes along, they could sign just about anywhere.
