Max Caster of The Acclaimed landed himself in hot water last year. Max Caster caused a lot of controversy when he rapped about Simone Biles’ mental health and the Duke lacrosse team made the air on AEW Dark. AEW was also criticized for putting Max Caster on TV too often.

Things are much better for Max Caster, as he is now able to appear often on AEW television and AEW Dark. However, Tony Khan must approve of Max Caster’s lyrics from now on.

While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about Max Caster losing to Samoa Joe on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Cornette criticized AEW for putting Max Caster on AEW television too often.

“He doesn’t have to be on television. It’s the Hippocratic Oath of wrestling. First, do no harm. If you want to use a talent in the future but you can’t book him right now in such a way that is beneficial to him and you got all that money, just leave him the f**k off or let him just get wins over there and get some experience if that is what he really needs at the time.

But they do YouTube, Dark Elevation. Just put Max Caster out there, let him rap and let him have a five-minute match with somebody that he beats. I don’t care what their name is and it’s not on television, just let him get experience and keep him in motion.”

We will have to wait and see whether AEW will actually heed Jim Cornette’s advice and eventually give a proper singles push to Max Caster in the future.
