Sami Zayn has worked in WWE for well over 8 years now, ever since he debuted in NXT. Zayn has reinvented himself and that has ultimately paid in dividends for him now. He also felt unappreciated in WWE by the looks of it.

Zayn went from becoming one of the most beloved underdogs in the company to being a conspiracy theorist, hell-bent on exposing those who wronged him. For the most part, he has always been prominently featured on WWE television.

While speaking on the Out of Character podcast with Ryan Satin, Sami Zayn talked about his career in WWE so far. Zayn admitted that there were instances when he felt unappreciated in the company.

“I’ve been pretty prominently featured since coming up on the main roster. It happened once or twice where I was just sitting on the sidelines and those are the only times I really did feel like I was really unhappy here. It would only last maybe two or three weeks, tops but nothing is worse than feeling unappreciated and unvalued.”
