Randy Orton is a 20-year veteran in the pro wrestling world as he has done just about everything one would want. While Orton is seen as a locker room leader now, he used to be a very problematic individual early on in his career. JBL also didn’t give Orton a hard time by the looks of it.
WWE Hall Of Famer JBL has a very bad reputation for being an outright bully inside the WWE locker room. He has often harassed several WWE Superstars over the years.
While speaking on Out Of Character, Randy Orton revealed that JBL never gave him a hard time during the early years of this career. This is due to his father Cowboy Bob Orton taking JBL under his wing in the past.
“My father took Bradshaw on his very first tour of Japan back in the early 90s. [He] took care of Bradshaw. Took him under his wing and had his back. Bradshaw, of course, the way it works, never forget that and me being Bob Orton’s kid, Bradshaw never gave me any shit.
He was always one of those guys, man, those local guys, those new guys, they’d come and he’d give ’em a hard time. Nothing wrong. but just f**ing with the guy, you know, just guys being guys. You need a little bit of that, but I was never a target because of my dad. [I was] such a lucky little asshole. No wonder everybody hated me.”
Randy Orton has grown up and is now a well-respected WWE Superstar in the locker room. For him, that is all that matters at this point in time.
