The Undertaker was finally inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame over WrestleMania 38 weekend in his home state of Texas. The love poured in for the Dead Man from around the world. Taker has wrestled his last match, but he might not be done with his WWE career just yet.
WWE has been partnering with NBC Universal to provide a ton of content for the Peacock streaming service. In addition to the promotion’s premium live events, several original shows and podcasts have peppered the service. Stone Cold Steve Austin’s “Broken Skull Sessions” has been a big hit.
It seems as though The Undertaker may be following in Austin’s footsteps. WrestleVotes has reported that sources are saying that The Undertaker will soon have his own podcast show, similar to Broken Skull Sessions. The series is set to begin airing in the next few months.
“In a show similar to that of Broken Skull Sessions, Peacock & WWE have convinced The Undertaker to enter the podcasting world. Source states his new show should begin airing within the next few months. A fascinating concept that was unfathomable just a few years back.”
The Undertaker is a major needle mover for WWE. NBC Universal would be thrilled to have an interview show with the wrestling legend on Peacock. The notoriously well-protected character has been stepping out of kayfabe a lot more since he retired from wrestling.
It will be interesting to see how The Undertaker does with his podcast. WWE fans will be thrilled to check it out. If the show is done right, it could be an excellent addition to WWE’s streaming library.
