WWE has a very lucrative relationship with the nation of Saudi Arabia. There has been significant backlash from fans and critics, as the Saudi royal family has been repeatedly accused of human rights violations. WWE is making enough money that they are willing to take the repeated PR hits.

The most recent Saudi show was Elimination Chamber. WWE touted massive success as the international live event featured women main eventing and being featured in advertising. The company and its employees believe this is a sign that WWE is helping to build a more progressive Saudi Arabia.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider recently reported on WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia. Backstage chatter indicates that the next Saudi event will take place sometime in the Fall. Fans can expect the show sometime in late October or early November.

“The early word is they will once again return around Halloween, either the final week of October or the first week of November.”

It was originally reported that WWE planned to hold the TLC premium live event in the controversial nation. The date being thrown around at that time was September. It now appears the next Saudi event will go down a little later than expected.

There has not been any official word from WWE on the upcoming Saudi Arabia date. That should be forthcoming shortly. Ringside News will have the update as soon as more details are revealed.
