Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler established themselves as one of the top tag teams in pro wrestling. They already proved their worth in AEW by winning the AEW Tag Team Titles once. The two also don’t care what their critics have to say about their matches.

For the past year or so, AEW has hired several former WWE Superstars including the likes of Malakai Black, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Adam Cole and many more. Not only that, the company has signed even more talent since then, including Toni Storm, Keith Lee and more.

Many fans feel that AEW has been signing far too many wrestlers. While speaking with the Dallas Morning News, Cash Wheeler hit back at critics over AEW signing too many wrestlers.

“When AEW started, they had to build from scratch. And you don’t know who’s going to work on TV, who’s not going to work on TV, who the fans will accept and who they won’t.

So, you’ve got to just sign everybody and hope after a couple years you’ve kind of got a better read on everything – what’s established, what isn’t.

You can’t plan for things that are completely unexpected. So, some of these names that became available to him, he never could have foresaw that coming. None of us could. So, when it was available, he would be a terrible businessman to not pursue that because it’s going to make his company better. And it’s going to make his talent better because now they have another brain to pick.”

Tony Khan also boasted that AEW made the pro wrestling business hotter. We will have to wait and see how many talents Tony Khan will keep on signing to AEW in the coming months.
