Becky Lynch has remained one of the top attractions of WWE television for the past few years now. Lynch was also involved in some of the most iconic moments in recent history. Seth Rollins also has an interesting take on Becky Lynch’s WrestleMania 35 match.
At WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch squared off against Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the main event of the show. The match did not necessarily receive the kind of reaction that WWE would have liked.
In the end, Becky Lynch ended up becoming the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Champion after winning the match. While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Seth Rollins talked about Lynch’s WrestleMania 35 match. Rollins stated that the match suffered due to fans being fatigued.
“Well, the longer it got, the worse it was. And the one in question is the New York WrestleMania which literally, from the pre-show to the finale was like seven straight hours and that is obnoxious, that is way too much wrestling. And mind you, my wife won the main event that night. They didn’t go to the ring until after midnight. And that main event which was awesome and super historic suffered from just the crowd being drained. They wanted to be there for everything but you only have so much energy.”
Becky Lynch recently lost the RAW Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38. We’ll have to see whether she will try to get back her title from Belair or not.
