AJ Styles Wants A WrestleMania Match Against Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, whose influence in the industry is far-reaching. He has more than three decades of experience under his belt. AJ Styles also wants to square off against Rey Mysterio by the looks of it.

AJ Styles competed in a singles match against Edge at WrestleMania 38 last week. On the other hand, Rey Mysterio teamed up with his son Dominik to take on The Miz and Logan Paul in a tag team match at the Show of Shows.

While speaking with WrestleZone, AJ Styles stated that he has yet to have a long-standing feud with Rey Mysterio in WWE. The Phenomenal One made it clear he wants a match against Mysterio at WrestleMania.

“It’s hard to say. I mean, who are those guys that when you think back, is it Rey Mysterio? I’ve never really had a long program or anything with him. I’ve wrestled him once or twice but I never had a story with him.

But, I don’t know, Edge [is this year]…I’ve tried to get Triple H in the ring but it looks like that’s not gonna happen. We’re running out of these guys who’ve been around longer than me.”

AJ Styles is currently feuding with Edge and Damian Priest on Monday Night RAW. We’ll have to see whether Styles and Mysterio compete at WrestleMania somewhere down the line.
