Hit Row was called up to the WWE main roster on the blue brand, during last year’s edition of the WWE Draft. While they were over in NXT, the group never quite saw much success on the main roster.

In the end, all members of Hit Row were released last year as well and this was seen with a lot of disdain. Many fans believed Hit Row had a bright future before their release.

While speaking on the UnSkripted podcast, Tehuti Miles, formerly known as “Ashante Thee Adonis,” talked about the original plans for Hit Row when it came to their debut on Friday Night Smackdown.

“Before we got drafted in October, I got appendicitis out of nowhere, so I had to get surgery and I was out 4-6 weeks.

Technically, it was supposed to be me and Swerve in the tag match on SmackDown, but I wasn’t cleared yet.”

Hit Row, now known as the HitMakerZ, also reunited at the MCW Pro Wrestling Spring Fever show on March 19 in Parkville, Maryland. We’ll have to see if Top Dolla will return to WWE somewhere down the line or not.
