WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin had a tremendous showing against Kevin Owens during Night 1 of WrestleMania 38. They duked it out in a surprisingly decent match that went all over the arena. Foley also made a hilarious bet recently.
Steve Austin then appeared during WrestleMania Night Two, where he confronted Vince McMahon and Austin Theory. He gave stunners to McMahon, Theory and even Pat McAfee.
However, when Austin tried to hit his stunner on McMahon, the WWE Chairman fell back too far against the ropes and was unable to get into position. The stunner itself lacked any impact whatsoever and fans simply found it hilarious.
Mick Foley recently dragged Steve Austin’s stunner as well. While speaking on his YouTube channel, Mick Foley made a bet that he could take a better stunner than Vince McMahon when he is 76.
”Somebody remarked, ‘Hey, you try taking that at 75 [76].’ Dude, I was there in ‘97 when he took what, up until last night, was the worst stunner of all time, and he was only 52 or 53 at that time. You can drag me out in terrible shape at 56, almost 57, and I’m not gonna take a stunner that bad.
I will, on a bet, go and take a stunner when I’m 75 [76] from Steve just to prove that I can. All right, Steve Austin, that’s not the last stunner of your career. You and Foley, 18 years from now, let’s make it happen!”
It is likely Mick Foley is half-serious with his bet, but stranger things have happened in the world of professional wrestling.
