WWE had been building a feud between Kevin Owens and Steve Austin for the past couple of months. This included Owens constantly taking shots at Austin’s home state of Texas.

In the main event of WrestleMania 38, Steve Austin squared off against Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match. The Texas Rattlesnake defeated Owens in a solid match that fans certainly enjoyed.

“I came here looking for anything. This is where I started. I was lucky enough to finish here, KO is outstanding, and he ran his mouth a little too much, and it caught up with him, but it was really an honor to be here on such a stacked card with so many great matches.”

Fans were simply glad to see The Texas Rattlesnake wrestle after so long and that is what matters in the end. We’ll have to see whether Steve Austin will make another appearance on WWE television eventually.
