CM Punk made a name for himself in the independent scene, especially ROH, before joining WWE. Punk has been part of numerous memorable feuds as well. He also clowned a fan recently.
He had a slight altercation with Kevin Owens during his time in Ring Of Honor as well. Kevin Owens faced Steve Austin in the main event of WrestleMania 38.
A fan took to Twitter and pointed this out while talking about the aforementioned altercation with Owens. CM Punk saw the tweet and responded to it, as clarified the story and clowned the fan for the false narrative.
Insane after all these years people still can watch that video, listen to Kev tell that story about Gabe making him wrestle in a shirt, and blame ME for Kev coming back into the locker room and yelling at ME. I’m super happy for him right now, but that doesn’t fit your narrative
Kevin Owens got to main event WrestleMania 38 alongside his childhood hero and that is what matters to him in the end. CM Punk is clearly happy for Owens as well.
