Logan Paul is set to team with The Miz to take on Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. Along with his brother Jake Paul, the two have invaded the combat sports world with a series of boxing matches. Logan is in the midst of his second run with WWE.
The Pauls are often criticized by fans for their hand-selected opponents and “exhibition” boxing matches. Many do not consider them legitimate athletes. One WWE superstar thinks they are putting in the work and deserve to be treated as real fighters.
Roman Reigns talked to TMZ Live to promote WrestleMania. During the interview, the Universal Champion put over the work ethic of Jake and Logan Paul. Reigns thinks they’ve put in enough effort to be taken seriously.
“These guys from everything that I’ve ever seen or heard, they put in the work. They live a full-time boxing schedule. They train. They eat. They do everything that a professional boxer would do to prepare for a fight.
I think as performers, you got to be multi-layered. In performing arts, you have to have multiple lanes of a skill set.”
Roman Reigns has a lot of respect for what Jake and Logan Paul are doing. Whether you like them or not, they have become huge stars and media personalities. We will have to wait and see how Logan fares when he steps into the ring at WrestleMania.
