The Undertaker received the ultimate honor when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Taker is now immortalized with the highest honor WWE could possibly give to their performers.
The Deadman mentioned a number of opponents whom he squared off against during his legendary career. Taker, who choked up multiple times during his speech. namedropped Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kane Bret Hart, and “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair to name a few.
However, one name that was missing from Taker’s extensive list was Mick Foley’s. Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy is one of Taker’s most formidable opponents within the squared circle and there’s no denying that.
Whether Mark forgot to mention Mick or did it on purpose is unknown. Mick’s daughter Noelle Foley took to social media to share her two cents on Taker not mentioning the legendary wrestler in his Hall of Fame speech.
That was a great speech, but I’m very surprised there was not one single mention of my dad and their legendary matches together.
Obviously I understand it’s difficult to fit everything into one speech and remember every single person you want to mention. But it just would have been really nice to hear my dad’s name mentioned.
The matches the two had together are some of the most physical and violent matches in WWE’s history. Mick made sure Taker looked like a star every time the two got together in the ring.
