Damian Priest is scheduled to be one of many WWE superstars who will compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on tonight’s episode of SmackDown. Rumors have been flying that Priest is supposed to wrestle Finn Balor at Mania. Thus far, the match has not been announced.

Priest had a run as the United States Champion before losing the title to Balor on a February episode of Monday Night Raw. Damian’s character began to explore his dark side after that. The Archer of Infamy’s sudden turn has yet to result in an announced WrestleMania bout.

There is currently no announced US title match for the two-day mega event. Damian Priest spoke to Denton Day about his potential involvement. Priest said he will be at WrestleMania, and he doesn’t plan to stay in the locker room all night.

“Well, I’m definitely in the Battle Royal, so that’s happening. Anything else? It’s up in the air. But the only thing I’ll say is, I’m going to be in the building, come Saturday and Sunday at WrestleMania, and I don’t plan on just staying in the back.

So I’ll say that. To anybody watching, anybody that might be a fan of mine, I’ll be there and I don’t plan on not showing up on the stage. I’ll give you that.”

Damian Priest wants his fans to know that he plans on being a part of the show whether he is invited or not. Many are speculating that he will have a surprise US Title match with Finn Balor. Time will tell what his true role will be.
