Ronda Rousey debuted at the end of 2018’s Royal Rumble event and didn’t take long to become one of the mainstays of WWE’s women’s division. She eventually became the RAW Women’s Champion but ended up losing it as well. Lynch also commented on Ronda Rousey’s return recently.

Rousey had been absent from WWE television since WrestleMania 35 and fans weren’t sure if they would ever see her again. It turned out, they did, as Rousey returned during the Women’s Royal Rumble match this year. She eliminated Charlotte Flair and won the match on top of that.

Rousey gave birth to her child last year and she takes her role as a mother very seriously. While speaking with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Becky Lynch stated that she feels Rouse rushed her return and should’ve taken more time.

“Not as good as me. Anybody who’s able to go out there in front of people and you’re able to perform and you have a baby that’s possibly not sleeping – getting out in front of a curtain, that’s juggling it all. Putting one foot in front of the other, that’s juggling it all. Are you excelling at it? That’s a different story. I’m excelling at it.

I genuinely do not believe Ronda has returned to that level. I think she may have needed a bit more time, which again if you have a child and you’re coming back after four months, that’s an incredible task. But sometimes you need a bit more time, especially if you haven’t been doing this for years upon year.”

Becky Lynch also wants a match against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 39 next year. We’ll have to see if that will end up happening or not.
