Roman Reigns is the current WWE Universal Champion and is one of the top Superstars in the company right now. For a long time now, fans have been wondering when Roman Reigns and The Rock will duke it out at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Paul Heyman commented on The Rock vs Roman Reigns as well recently.
Many believe a match between the two top stars would go down as one of the greatest matches in the history of WrestleMania. Despite all the hype, the match is unlikely to happen anytime soon, if at all.
While speaking on The MMA Hour, Paul Heyman talked about the Rock vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. When told The Rock should appear at WrestleMania 38, Heyman said that it wouldn’t make sense.
“Why? (The Rock returning at WrestleMania 38) Why would you do it? And then you’re telling everybody that for the next 364 days nothing matters until The Rock.”
The Rock also previously shut down rumors of squaring off against Roman Reigns as well. In spite of that, it remains to be seen whether The Rock and Roman Reigns do end up facing each other somewhere down the line.
