Cesaro was certainly one of the most gifted WWE Superstars in the company and for many fans, he was severely underrated. The Swiss Superman’s in-ring skills and technical mastery truly made him a huge hit with fans. Eddie Kingston also wants Cesaro to come to AEW for an amusing reason.
In the end, Cesaro left WWE last month after his contract expired and he did not sign another contract with the company. This came as a surprise for many as fans felt Cesaro could have achieved more in WWE.
While speaking on the Wrestling Perspective Podcast, Eddie Kingston talked about opponents he’d like to face in AEW. Kingston revealed that he wants Cesaro to join AEW so he can beat him up.
“There’s a couple of people. I know I say I don’t want him at AEW, but Claudio Castagnoli, I would love him to be in AEW so I can smack the shit out of him. We have a lot of unfinished business. Like you said, you don’t want to know the backstage stuff, that’s fine, but there’s some serious stuff between us. I would love to end it and see if he does the right thing at AEW. But again, not my show
Cesaro and Kingston feuded between 2009 and 2011 in CHIKARA, where Cesaro beat Kingston in their final match. We’ll have to see whether Cesaro will ever make his way to AEW or not.
