WWE is preparing to hold their 8th event in Saudi Arabia as part of their 10-year deal with the country. This event will likely see a huge yearly event held in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Andrew Zarian reported on F4W Online that WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia in September. They will likely hold the TLC event in the controversial kingdom.
WWE will be making its return to Saudi Arabia for a pay-per-view event this September, with it being indicated to us that the PPV will likely be TLC (Tables, Ladders & Chairs) 2022. This comes from the same source that indicated the first WWE pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia this year would be the Elimination Chamber. A specific date for the show has not been confirmed. This would be the first TLC PPV since 2020, as no TLC event was held in 2021.
It was also noted that the company’s Labor Day weekend event for the United Kingdom in September is also still happening. We will have to see what’s next for WWE’s partnership in Saudi Arabia, but they are holding some major events overseas at this point.
