Ring of Honor underwent a major overhaul in 2021. The promotion released performers from their contracts. Many former ROH stars signed with AEW and IMPACT Wrestling.
AEW President and CEO Tony Khan revealed himself as the new owner of ROH earlier this month. Khan would be seeing to the production and storylines going forward.
The 39-year-old wrestling promoter took to Twitter Monday (March 28) to announce another title match for the upcoming ROH Supercard of Honor pay-per-view event.
Per Khan, Willow Nightingale will square off against Mercedes Martinez to determine the interim ROH Women’s World Champion. The winner of the match will face ROH Women’s World Champion Deonna Purrazzo at later date.
