After three months of anticipation and hype, Jeff Hardy finally made his debut on AEW Dynamite earlier this month. Fans were simply elated to see The Hardys reunite after years. AEW has been criticized for how they have booked The Hardys as well.
Since then, The Hardys have squared off against Private Party as well as The Butcher & The Blade in recent weeks. Fans are simply happy to see them working together right now.
While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about The Hardys involving themselves with Private Party and The Butcher & The Blade. Cornette criticized AEW for their underwhelming booking of The Hardys.
“Two weeks of The Hardy Boyz, and it’s over, just like that? How could you do this on purpose? If you said, ‘I’m gonna reunite one of the most popular tag teams of all time in the history of wrestling, and within the first two weeks, they would be horrible matches with underneath teams, and nobody will care. And I will use Jeff Hardy’s debut in my company to sell one single ticket.’ Could you believe this?
The Hardys also plan on going after the AEW World Tag Team Championships in the future. We’ll have to see if that will end up happening at some point in time or not.
