Chris Jericho Uses Will Smith Oscars Slap To Further His AEW Storyline

Chris Jericho is a veteran in the pro wrestling world who competed all over the world over the past three decades. He is also proud to be working in AEW and isn’t afraid to show it. Jericho also used one of the hottest topics in the world right not to further his own AEW storyline.

Jericho has managed to keep himself relevant throughout the years by constantly changing up his gimmick in meaningful ways, thereby gaining new nicknames in the process.

His latest reinvention has seen him introduce The Jericho Appreciation Society. The main objective of his group is to put down pro wrestlers, as the members proclaim themselves as sports entertainers.

During this year’s Oscars Ceremony, Will Smith brutally slapped Chris Rock after he joked about Smith’s wife. Chris Jericho recently took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of Smith slapping the comedian, using it to further his own AEW storyline.
