Ever since CM Punk made his debut a few months ago at AEW Rampage: The First Dance, he has certainly helped elevate talents. It is safe to say he has fulfilled his goal so far as well. MJF is also very bitter about CM Punk by the looks of it.
The Second City Saint also faced off against MJF in a bloody Dog Collar match at AEW Revolution on March 6th. In the end, CM Punk managed to defeat MJF after Wardlow provided some assistance.
While speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, MJF talked about CM Punk beating him in the match. MJF called CM Punk a disturbed sociopath for ‘cheating’ to win the match.
“If I’d beaten Punk, I am definitely sure I would have moved up very high in the rankings, to the point of #1 contendership. Unfortunately, I did not, because he decided to cheat and had Wardlow hand him the ring, which by the way, who hits somebody with a ring to win. The amount of disturbed sociopathic energy you must have in your brain to cheat in a sport. He cheated and we’re all just clapping for him, it’s sickening.”
MJF is currently engaged in a feud with Wardlow but made it clear he is not done with CM Punk just yet. We’ll have to see when MJF and Punk cross paths once again.
