Marcus Alexander Bagwell, better known by his ring name Buff Bagwell, is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling from 1991 to 2001. He was a five-time World Tag Team Champion in Ted Turner’s company. Despite his age, he is apparently still living on the edge and also not afraid to advocate for those who deserve his support.
Bagwell recently took to Twitter to show his love and admiration for Nyla Rose. He can’t believe Rose isn’t the Women’s Champion yet as her last match in AEW was the perfect build up. Some commentator tried to slam Rose by shading her gender as he said, “Maybe because Nyla Rose needs to be a woman in order to be Women’s Champion, it’s kinda in the name.”
The user using a Homsar avatar claimed that Rose needs to be a woman first in order to win the Woman’s championship. Buff Bagwell shut down the salty person by asking him to keep his mouth shut as grown men were talking. He later took to Twitter show his absolute support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Some people were surprised with my tweet last night about Nyla Rose, but I’m 100% behind the #LGBTQ community.
Buff Bagwell was arrested last year and he now has 15 charges against him. All of those charges are misdemeanor offenses pertaining to dangerous practices on the roadway. Take a look at the tweets from Bagwell in support of Rose and the LGBTQ+ community below.
