Roman Reigns Explains Why He Has Hate For Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar made his shocking return to WWE television last year during the SummerSlam pay-per-view. He has been engaged in a huge feud with Roman Reigns since his return. Reigns explained why he has hate for Brock Lesnar as well.

Lesnar and Roman Reigns are certainly no stranger to each other, as they have squared off against each other in the past. They especially duked it out against each other at WrestleMania.

While speaking on The Michael Kay Show, Roman Reigns was asked if he has any respect for Lesnar. Reigns stated that he definitely respects Brock Lesnar and explained why he has hate for Lesnar as well.

“Of course, I absolutely respect him. But in this sense, when it goes to 1v1, hand on hand, I genuinely believe that you need to have some hate and whether it is to the core or not, you have to — like Michael Jordan, I have to personally motivate myself and grasp onto anything I can to take myself to that main event energy, that main event level, to that championship defense mode, God Mode, if you will. So there definitely will be a lot of respect for many different reasons, who he is as a performer, as an athlete.”

We will have to see if Roman Reigns will end up becoming both the WWE and Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38 or not.
