Kairi Sane Returns To The Ring At STARDOM World Climax

Kairi Sane was one of the best female pro wrestlers WWE had at their disposal at one point in time. She had a solid run in NXT where she ended up winning the NXT Women’s Championship. She made her in-ring return at a recent STARDOM event as well.

She left the company’s weekly television programs and moved back to Japan. She also earned her degree while in Japan. Many believed her contract with WWE expired and that was exactly the case as her contract expired last month.

During this weekend’s STARDOM World Climax event, Kairi Sane, who is known as Kairi Hojo now, partnered up with Mayu Iwatani and squared off against Tam Nakano and Unagi Sayaka.

In the final moments of the match, Sane hit her signature diving elbow, before Mayu Iwatani hit a moonsault for the win. The match marked Sane’s first match since her July 2002 with Bayley on Monday Night RAW.

Sane is also set to square off against Starlight Kid. in a singles match this Sunday. Sane is happy to be back inside the squared circle and that is what matters in the end.
