Jinder Mahal received mixed responses since his debut in the company back in 2011. He won the WWE Championship in 2017, after a release followed by two years away from WWE, and many fans continue to hate on that reign even today. Drew McIntyre feels differently when it comes to Mahal’s WWE Championship reign.

Before Jinder Mahal became the WWE Champion, he was simply a lower mid-card talent and no one took him seriously. Mahal’s current booking makes it evident WWE has no big plans for him at all.

The Modern-Day Maharaja has been on a losing streak lately, where his last win was against Ricochet in a dark match on Friday Night SmackDown in December last year. Since then, he has lost 8 consecutive matches.

WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan recently took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of himself along with Jinder Mahal. Hogan stated that he believes Mahal could be the ‘new generation Hulk Hogan’ if he gets the right push.

It remains to be seen whether the company will have anything significant planned for Jinder Mahal in the future. Odds are, that might not be happening anytime soon by the looks of it.
